Reporting to the Regional Director Site Operations - Fresno, R.E.-PA Fresno, this position is responsible for ensuring the 24 hour coordination of and operational performance of admissions, registrations and patient financial services. The manager promotes, monitors, analyzes and reports on key performance indicators in which Revenue Excellence metrics meet or exceed Trinity initiatives. This position communicates information and plans to facilitate and support strong collegial relationships with department leadership throughout the medical center and leaders within the Western Region of Trinity Health System. The Manager develops processes to promote quality of service, budgetary compliance and identification of departmental direction and expectations. The leader in this position has the capacity to visualize their objective and execute an effective and successful implementation of an established "Gold Standard" within the revenue cycle. The manager attracts and mentors potential leaders to promote continuous learning, growth and
an outcome to retain talent within the organization. The manager cultivates a just and safe culture that is patient and employee centric.

1. Bachelor's degree in health care or business related field required. 2 years of Lead/Supervisor experience may substitute for 1-year of college on a year for year basis.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field with an emphasis on customer service required. If Lead/Supervisor experience is in lieu of degree, must have 5 years' experience in addition to the experience substitution.
3. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse workforce in a learning environment with frequent changes in departmental priorities.
4. Effective communication, both verbal and written, is required.
5. Effective critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills are required.
6. Must be able to exhibit superior leadership and management skills with an emphasis on team-building.
7. Demonstrated knowledge of the federal regulations and The Joint Commission standards are required.
8. General business, accounting, medical terminology and health insurance knowledge is required.
9. Comprehensive knowledge of the Revenue Cycle is required.
10. Demonstrated ability to handle diverse workload with multiple projects and leaders is required.
11. Demonstrated ability to work independently, set and organize work priorities, and adapt to a changing work environment.
12. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
13. Current NAHAM certification as a Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) is required within one year of hire into position.
