Perioperative Services management team.  The primary function of this position is to facilitate the collection, analysis and reporting of data relating to resource utilization, procedure volumes, and numerous quality indicators throughout the Perioperative Services Department.  This position is also responsible for providing technical support for ORSOS to all system users as well as maintaining the database for the Bariatric Program. This includes collection verification and entry of administrative and demographic data using automated and manual systems. Maintain system integrity and generate internal and external reports

Education: High School/GED required

Experience: 0-1 years’ experience required, 2-4 years’ experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Preferred:

Experience in maintenance of computer database files and statistical reporting

Knowledge/experience with ORSOS

Experience in Performance Improvement data collection and reporting

Functional knowledge of medical terminology

Moderate physical effort (e.g. continuous typing, occasional lifting, prolonged standing/bending, etc.)
