Registered Nurse - Rehab Nursing

The Registered Professional Nurse, Level I, uses critical thinking skills, professional judgement and leadership to anticipate, plan, direct and evaluate the care of the patients provided by a team of ancillary personnel, and serves as a resource in a specific specialty area. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required Current RN License in the State of Illinois required Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Course within one (1) year of hire Current CPR certification required ACLS certification required Ability to quickly recognize changes in condition and needs of patients Knowledge of patients' growth and development needs

The Rehab/Observation Unit is seeking future colleagues with a passion to provide quality patient care and outstanding service excellence. The successful Registered Nurse uses critical thinking skills, professional judgment and leadership to anticipate, plan, direct and evaluate the care of the patients provided by a team of ancillary personnel, and serves as a resource in a specific specialty area. Shift: 12 hours, with every other weekend and every other holiday.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years’ experience
  • Current RN License in the State of Illinois required
  • Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia course within 1 year of hire in Telemetry,
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification
  • Ability to quickly recognize changes in condition and needs of patients
