Nurse Assistant - Medical Unit - Part Time - Nights

Hourly Pay Range: $12.62 - $17.50

JOB SUMMARY

The nurse assistant provides patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse.  This care focuses on personal hygiene, nutritional needs and activities of daily living. 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Successful completion of formal Nurse Aid course/training verified through transcript or original program certificate of completion, required.

      OR

Currently enrolled in an A.D.N., B.S.N., program with successful completion of first semester of A.D.N. program, OR first year completion of nursing courses in BSN OR graduate of an A.D.N., Diploma, BSN or LPN program.

      OR

Registered on State of Iowa Nurse Aide registry listing as “Active” or eligible, preferred.

Experience:  Nursing Assistant experience preferred Special Skills and Competencies: Ability to work on multiple projects at one time and flexibility to meet department needs. Self-motivated and detail oriented individual.
